TX Wheels of Justice (TXWOJ) is a 501(c)3 public charity that raises money for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and the Texas Law Enforcement Officers Memorial .  The TXWOJ holds one major fundraising event each year – The Heroes Ride which is a bicycle ride held in North Montgomery county.  The majority of the funds raised come from sponsors, with the remaining coming from participants of the ride.

The funds raised during the year through the Heroes Ride and other donations is donated to the Fund during their  major fundraising event the Police Unity Tour (PUT).  The PUT is held in May during National Police Week.  The ride begins in New Jersey and ends in Washington D.C at the National Law Enforcement Memorial.
A group of riders representing TXWOJ participate in the PUT each year.  The riders are made up of peace officers throughout the state of Texas and friends or family members of those officers.  Each rider has to raise the necessary funds to participate in the PUT which include the following:

Entry fee  $1750PUTWREATH2

Trip Expenses $700

Application fee $60

TXWOJ’s goal is to have the largest group of peace officers at the PUT.  Thousands ride in the PUT each year with a very small group from Texas.  We are working actively to change that situation.  If you are interested in representing Texas at the PUT next year please feel free to contact us.  We would be honored to have you join us.
